Producing a single page of bleached white paper requires 13 ounces of clean water, an increasingly scarce resource of its own.

The average office worker in the U.S. prints 10,000 pages every year, which is about 8 million tons.

One tree produces 16.67 reams of paper.

That means, it takes 178 million trees to produce office paper for just one year.

And of course, all of that needs to be landfilled at some point.

Any way you look at it, the environment is getting reamed.
