Our proactive services work because of our tools. Our tools allow us to create a predictable network for you.
You will be able to run all of your computers at a standard baseline level of security and patch management via automated, unattended tools which run overnight. We will not allow any application changes other than those we are controlling. This is the only line of defense against zero-day exploits (viruses so new they have no fix from the anti-virus vendors)
We have a test protocol which we run through before we allow a general release of patches to your servers and desktops. This prevents recalled patches from breaking your production servers.
Knowing where all your servers are in the patch cycle helps us troubleshoot problems better.
We receive alerts that a component of your system might not be healthy, and we respond to them.
Unlike many in-house system administrators, and some of our competitors, we actually look at the logs and alerts in a timely fashion. We have three or four people looking at errors and alerts all day long. This allows us to respond before an innocuous alert becomes a critical problem.
